About CTD

“Classic” — a creation of quality that has passed the test of time.
Ivo Oppio founded the family business, Classic Tool & Die, in 1978 and started small in Oldcastle. The company grew into a supplier of mid- to large-size metal stamping dies, especially for automotive work, and today operates from an approximately 30,000 square foot facility at 2325 Olympia Drive, Oldcastle, Ontario, Canada.
Automotive work has been the core of the business. Company materials also name medical instruments, plastic injection moulds, aerospace, mining and home appliances, and Classic builds tools for parts supplied to Chrysler, Ford, GM, Honda, Hyundai, Isuzu, Mazda, Nissan and Toyota.
